Stone Carlie & Company, L.L.C., certified public accountants, business consultants and wealth advisors, is pleased to announce that Linda West, CPA, is the recipient of the prestigious Women to Watch Emerging Leaders Award presented by the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). This award honors up-and-coming stars who exhibit strong leadership skills, have made significant contributions to the accounting profession, have created and implemented unique initiatives in the workplace and who spend time helping others through community service efforts.
Linda is a Senior Manager in the Firm’s Tax & Business Services department where she works with public companies to implement tax planning strategies and spends significant time assisting early-stage businesses in growing their practices. As the leader of the Life Science and Emerging Technology Unit at Stone Carlie, Linda works with many life science companies volunteering her time.
In addition to serving clients, Linda is a mentor and performance supervisor to fellow Stone Carlie employees. As a leader, Linda has already had a profound impact on the people she mentors providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in their own careers. Linda is also a participant in the Firm’s Emerging Leadership Academy (ELA) program where she has developed two resource tools for employees and clients that also save clients time and money.

Linda plays an active leadership role in the local business and community environments. She is active in professional organizations such as the Missouri Venture Forum and the Young Leader Institute. Additionally, she serves as the Youth Group Mission Coordinator at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church where she actively organizes local services activities as well as coordinates youth mission trips to impoverished countries.
