Beginning in the early 1400s in Florence, Italy, the European world experienced a great flowering of art and intellectual pursuits. Aided by new technical knowledge, artists achieved great heights in painting and sculpture. Survey will include Piero della Francesca, Masaccio, Donatello, Botticelli, Leondardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael and a selection of contemporary women artists.
