Attorney J.R. Schultz Joins Drivers Defense Counsel Law Firm

Consulted for fight scenes in motion pictures including "The Bourne Identity" before earning law degree

May 27, 2015, St. Louis, Missouri…Attorney J.R. “Jerry” Schultz has joined the law firm Drivers Defense Counsel, which focuses on personal injury litigation, motor vehicle accidents, DWI allegations, and criminal defense involving financial fraud or appropriation.

A St. Louis native, Mr. Schultz graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor and Certificate of Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law in California. In addition, he obtained a Masters in International Law from King’s College London in England.

Mr. Schultz is an expert instructor in Krav Maga, a self-defense system developed for the Israeli military that consists of techniques sourced from Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with an emphasis on street fighting. While in law school, Mr. Schultz trained military personnel, police officers and civilians in Krav Maga techniques. He worked for an organization that choreographed fight scenes for major motion pictures, including The Bourne Identity and the television show 24.

At Drivers Defense Counsel Mr. Schultz focuses his law practice in matters of personal injury and criminal defense. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Missouri Bar and the National Order of Barristers, as well as the American Association for Justice and The International Law Society.
