Book Signing for "Max Starkloff and the Fight for Disability Rights"

The new book published by Missouri History Museum Press is available at bookstores and the Missouri History Museum and Amazon.com.

Author Charlie Claggett is shown signing copies of his new bookMax Starkloff and the Fight for Disability Rightsabout Max J. Starkloff (1937-2010), who worked all his adult life to change societal attitudes about people with disabilities. The new book co-written with Richard H. Weiss published by Missouri History Museum Press is available at bookstores in addition to the Missouri History Museum and via Amazon.com. Claggett and Weiss appeared at the book’s launch party on December 2 at the History Museum. About 250 people filled the Museum’s auditorium to hear Claggett discuss the book project as “a labor of love.” Claggett is chairman of the board of the Starkloff Disability Institute.  (http://www.starkloff.org.)
