The Bosnia Memory Project at Fontbonne University is dedicated to recording the stories of Bosnian genocide survivors. On March 19, selections from these stories will reach a new audience in a new way: They will be heard alongside traditional Bosnian Sevdah music performed by members of the St. Louis Symphony. “Bosnian Journeys: Generations,” a MetLife Music without Borders concert, will take place at Powell Symphony Hall on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. No reservations or tickets are required. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to a free post-concert reception, sponsored by Grbic Restaurant & Banquet Hall and Grand Prix Beverage LLC.
