Clayton Century Foundation - Musical Nights
Come join us under the beautiful trees of Oak Knoll Park for Musical Nights; a series of free concerts sponsored by the Clayton Century Foundation.
Have you heard that the CCF sponsored another tremendously successful Musical Night?. The second in a series of four concerts was held on Sunday July 22nd and featured local favorites Griffin & the Gargolyes. Despite the heat ( and these days, everything is despite the heat!), the turn out was great. CCF wants to especially thank , and for donating attendance prizes for the evening. And, a special thank you to the for donating a very special book autographed by Laura Bush.
Families enjoyed the evening, there was a slight breeze and the band did a great job of keeping the crowd entertained. If you have never been to a Musical Nights, what are you waiting for? This is a great free event sponsored by CCF and there are two more shows before the summer is over. Mark you calendars for now for August 26th for the smooth sounds of the Charles Glenn Trio. Their unique renditions of familiar jazz and R&B classics are perfect for a family night out. Then, on September 23rd, Javier Mendoza closes out the Musical Night series. Voted best male solo artist by the RFT, he is not to be missed.
