Community Paper Shred Day

Shredding your sensitive documents can help save your identity.

Tax Day has past, but many people still have sensitive documents that they need to dispose of properly.  In today's world you can't simply throw your personal documents into the recycling bin, you need to shred anything that gives away personal information that you do not want other people to have.

For identity thieves any shred of someone's personal information is enough for them to steal an identity and run amuck with the victims credit.

The is holding a Community Shred Day on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. to help the community dispose of those documents.  Shred-it, a locally owed paper shred company, will provide the trucks to help with the shredding process.
