Commercial Seasonal Displays- Part I
Seasonal displays enhance the site and building's architecture, while their visual impact on the streetscape can function as advertising for that business.
I cut my teeth as a designer on commercial seasonal displays—you know, those gardens designed to impress for a single growing season, from spring’s last frost to the hard bite of fall. In the Midwest it’s common to install display beds around corporate signage and in containers clustered at a building’s entrance.
I’m devoting this post and the next one to this topic. If you’re a plantaholic like me, displays can be a wonderful creative outlet.
