Documentary "Hit Man to Hero" Launches IndieGoGo Campaign

The St. Louis based documentary Hit Man to Hero has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise money to continue production on their film.

In February, , a former hit man for the Nicaraguan Sandanista Army.  Bernard and Madison learned of Oscar while doing mission work in Nicaragua at the House of Hope.  House of Hope works to help women leave prostitution and is run by Oscar, his wife and two others. 

Bernard and Madison, along with a crew including St. Louis director Dan Parris have already completed one trip to Nicaragua to film.  The footage from that trip has been used to complete the film's trailer, which debuted with the IndieGoGo campaign. Funds raised by the campaign will be used to translate and transcribe already existing footage as well as to pay for production and travel costs associated with completing the film.
