The new chapter of the International MOMS Club® for Central St Louis County moms held its first Monthly Meetup on Monday at the Samuel Preschool in Clayton.

The new chapter of the International MOMS Club® for Central St Louis County moms held its first Monthly Meeting on Monday at the Samuel Preschool in Clayton.

More than 10 moms attended with their children and several were new members who had never attended a MOMS Club event before.

The MOMS Club of St. Louis County - Central is a growing group catering to stay-at-home moms and moms that work part time throughout Olivette, University City, Clayton, Ladue, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Rock Hill, Webster Groves, Shrewsbury, Maplewood, Town & Country, and Creve Coeur. The members get together for playdates throughout the area several times per week and moms can attend as many events as they want for a $20 annual fee. These club dues cover administration costs.

The Monthly Meeting is held once a month as a way for all members to get together and discuss club business. At Monday's meeting, members decided to start a "Meals for Moms" program where they will provide meals to members when they welcome a new baby or have a serious illness in their family.

The Monthly Meeting will be held the 1st Monday of every month at 9:30 a.m.  We are looking for a larger location so stay tuned!

The MOMS Clubs also hosted several events last week including a trip to the zoo.  Although we fought a large crowd, fun was had be all!
