Opening Day Festival at Clayton Farmer's Market

Join us for a fun, family-style festival Saturday May 4!

You may have have noticed there's a buzz in the air and it's not just bees getting excited about all the spring flowers.  It's about the 2013 Farmers' Market Season.  I've been talking to farmers for a few weeks now and they are very excited about this year's fruits, vegetables, flowers and everything else they grow.

The recent spring rains may be flooding the rivers, but they're also filling wells and lakes and saturating the ground deeply with much needed water.  Even if some of the farmers have to wait for things to dry a bit in order to get their tomato plants in the ground, everyone is grateful for the water.

We're expecting a great market season and are very proud to present some of the best in regionally grown produce and hand-crafted artisan foods.  We're kicking off the Season with a Festival on Saturday, May 4 in the morning from 8:30am to 12:30pm.  So come on by and say hello.  We're a stop along the road to anywhere!
