Job Title: Solar Operations Technician

Status: Part-time Independent Contractor, transitioning into Full-time Employee

Reporting to: Project Manager or Director of Operations

OVERVIEW:

Microgrid Energy is seeking a motivated and self starting individual to join the Microgrid Operations Team as a Solar Operations Technician. The Ops Tech is an entry level position and will support both our solar installation business as well as our energy performance consulting practice. The Ops Tech will be responsible for a wise range of tasks, including office and field assignments. As the Ops Tech grows in his/her capabilities and qualifications, he/she will be offered greater responsibility in project management of either soalr installtion or energy efficiency or both. This position offers challenge and opportunity for growth and advancement, as well as a target of full time employment within one year, or less. Advancement is expected as capabilities and expertise grow.
