Tired of the city? Try park home living

City living can be gloriously over hyped. While many would argue that the best jobs, or the best nights out, are only to be had in the city, the city is a place where people can get tired - quickly.

The city can age a person simply because of its fast pace of life. Even if this doesn't happen, some end up leaving after a spell because they simply can't afford to stay there; perhaps they've been made redundant, or been priced out of an area.

It's for these reasons that park home living is seen as the ultimate alternative to life in the city. It's cheaper, the pace of life is slower, and some might say even more friendly than the city.

The natural surroundings at many park sites are also staggeringly beautiful. Where many city-dwellers would have to travel for miles to get to their nearest countryside, most park-homers only have to step outside.

Coastal destinations often tend to be the kinds of places where you'll find park homes, offering fantastic beaches to walk on - which is great if you are a dog owner too - as well as the kind of fresh air that just doesn't exist inside our fair country's urban metropolises.

Those whom have always fancied themselves as a bit of a green-fingered wonder but never had the chance because they never owned a garden will also be impressed by park home living. That's because you're always guaranteed at least a bit of green space in a park home, immediately outside your door, unlike you would have been in your high-rise flat!

Others who couldn't care for the grounds needn't bother though, as the proprietors of the parks keep the shared grounds in excellent condition all year round.

Perhaps best of all is that the enduring popularity of park homes makes them far easier to sell and move on compared to city homes. That's because of the massive ratio of city homes compared to park ones.
