Following the CDC’s guidance on masking in areas of high or substantial community transmission of COVID-19, the City of Clayton; School District of Clayton; and Clayton Recreation, Sports and Wellness Council have made the difficult decision to once again require masks at The Center of Clayton.

Beginning Friday, August 20, 2021, masks are required at all times for everyone ages 5+ inside The Center of Clayton except when actively swimming, showering, or eating. Those who refrain from wearing a mask for any reason, including medical conditions, should seek alternate accommodations.

We will continue to follow CDC guidance and monitor community transmission data publicly available at https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/ with the intent to lift this requirement once transmission risk is no longer high or substantial.
