May 6, 2020

The demand for help with food and essential needs continues to increase across the St. Louis region. As unemployment numbers remain near Great Depression levels, people are beginning to feel the pinch. Mayors throughout the region are taking note and stepping up to help those who live in their immediate communities. The St. Louis Area Foodbank is the community’s response to hunger - supplying food, personal care items, and cleaning supplies to more than 500 partner agencies and distribution sites throughout 26 area counties (14 in Missouri and 12 in Illinois).
