Clayton Police Citizens Academy Begins On Sept. 24

This year's sessions will take place entirely online.

We are excited to announce registration is now open for the Fall 2020 CPD Citizens Police Academy! The CPD Citizens Police Academy was developed to foster relationships between our community & PD. Participants will learn about the complexities of modern law enforcement & gain a better understanding of how CPD officers are trained to fulfill a variety of responsibilities. Class topics include patrol procedures, criminal & juvenile laws, crime scene investigation, traffic enforcement & more.

This opportunity is open to those who live or work in Clayton. Admission is by application only. Applicants must be at least 19 years old. A background check will be performed.

Due to current restrictions, the fall 2020 Citizens Academy session dates will be hosted entirely online, beginning September 24th.
