stl250: Building Civic Pride and Helping Nonprofits Gaine Awareness

Presented by: Erin Budde, Executive Director, stl250

stl250, newly created to help St. Louis celebrate its 250th anniversary, is putting significant energy into encouraging community-based partnerships and collaborations to benefit St. Louis' nonprofit community. Erin Budde, stl250's executive director, will outline the various events being planned for the 2014 celebration, including a comprehensive online storytelling effort to document the history of both individuals and organizations.  She'll also talk about stl250's plan to help connect volunteers with nonprofits' service projects. The goal of stl250 is to generate greater civic pride and to help people and organizations connect to each other in more meaningful, long-lasting ways. Check out www.stl250.org
