Acrylic and Water-Soluble Oil Painting

Eight-week course beginning June 14, continuing through August 2.
Meets on Fridays, 10:00am to 12:30pm.

This class will introduce the student to the materials and techniques needed to complete one to two paintings. This class is mostly for beginners. Although more advanced students are welcome. Students will walk through the process of building Acrylic and Water Soluble oil paintings from beginning to end. They will receive a solid foundation in painting preparation, brush care, and brushing techniques, as well as a basic understanding of color theory and composition. The best part of this class is easing the fears associated with learning how to paint a work of art.
