Nurses for Newborns will host the third annual Notes for Newborns evening of music featuring award winning singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer at Sheldon Concert Hall. The evening is presented by the Deaconess Foundation.
Ths benefit concert will be Newcomer's St. Louis CD release concert for Everything Is Everywhere. The new CD features Carrie's collaboration with Indian sarod players Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan.
The local folk duo Symmetry will appear as the opening act and. The duo is composed of soprano Wendy Bruner and alto Melinda Ohlemiller. Ohlemiller is also the CEO at Nurses for Newborns.
