Cruelty to Compassion, a photo tribute to the employees and volunteers of the Humane Society of Missouri (HSMO). For nearly 15 years, photographer Mike Bizelli has documented the work of HSMO’s Animal Cruelty Task Force and witnessed the care and commitment that have given thousands of desperate animals a second chance in life.
Friday, April 5 (5-9pm), Saturday, April 6th (10 am -5pm) & Sunday, April 7th (12 to 4pm).
In images chilling to joyous to bittersweet, Cruelty to Compassion tells the stories of Trooper, Sonny, Twister, Tumbleweed, Marshall the Miracle Dog, Fay, Dharma and other animals rescued from abuse, neglect and natural disasters. Both heartbreaking and uplifting, Cruelty to Compassion provides a unique, behind-the-scenes view of a world very few see.
