Watercolor Painting

Eight-week course beginning June 5 through July 24.
Meets on Wednesdays, 10am–12:30pm.

This class is mostly for beginners. Students will walk through the process of building a watercolor painting from beginning to end. They will receive a solid foundation in painting preparation, brush care, understanding watercolor papers, color theory, and will learn to use the four types of washes and a host of other techniques to create one to two finished pieces. The class will use photos provided by the teacher as she provides step by step instructions. Students will also be asked to bring in their own photos to be discussed and used in future paintings. The best part of this class is easing the fears associated with trying to learn the art of watercolor. This class is for students 18+.
