First Bank’s Sponsorship Helps Children Become Ready Readers

To help support Ready Readers, First Bank served as one of the sponsors for the Imaginary Theatre Company Benefit Event and Performance of The Tortoise and the Hare on January 26 at Clayton High School.

More than $17,000 was raised for Ready Readers, a St. Louis literacy program for pre-school age children from low-income communities. All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase more books and train additional program volunteers.
