Jeffrey A. Cohen Named Managing Shareholder of Law Firm Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P. C.

NOVEMBER 3, 2014, St. Louis, Missouri…Jeffrey A. Cohen, a founding shareholder of law firm Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C., has been named Managing Shareholder, reflecting a shift in the law firm’s management platform from a three-person Executive Committee. Cohen will assume the top leadership role officially on January 1, 2015.

“Jeff Cohen is a talented lawyer and an effective leader,” said Gary R. Sarachan, a founding shareholder who co-chairs the firm’s litigation practice group and is the firm’s general counsel.

“Jeff’s new role as managing shareholder is the result of an evolutionary process in firm management. We have done well managing our success and now we are looking for leadership into the future,” Sarachan said. “Jeff is a visionary leader who has the capacity to motivate people.” Sarachan and shareholder Sheila Greenbaum currently serve on the Executive Committee with Cohen.

The focus of Cohen’s practice is Business & Finance and Real Estate. He represents closely-held businesses in a wide range of industries. His clients include The Staenberg Group, Hilliker Corporation, SupplyOne, Inc. and the Jewish Community Center among others.

Cohen is Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of the Henry and Gladys Crown Center for Senior Living, an independent living community for low-income seniors. He is a member of the Board of Governors of Westwood Country Club and serves as its Legal Advisor. He also serves as Development Chair of the Camp Sabra Capital Campaign.
