Katie Lee Lives the Pizza Life
Lee is realizing the success of her artisan pizza parlor, and expanding with a second location.

ForΒ Katie Lee, the hardest part about having a dream is keeping it alive.Β
LeeΒ told theΒ Stl CuratorΒ Β she always dreamed of openingΒ St. Louisβ first artisan pizza parlor. She also saidΒ almost everyone she talked to about her idea told her it wouldnβt work.
But she pushed onward and nowΒ her restaurant on Clayton Road has been proudly serving legions of devoted clients for over five years.Β
Β Her father isΒ her business partner, and the two opened the doors toΒ Β Katieβs Pizzeria when Lee was just twenty-six.
Lee plans to let her father continue to run theΒ restaurant on Clayton, and will open the second one with her fiancΓ©, local artist Ted Collier.
