LEGAL SERVICES OF EASTERN MISSOURI WELCOMES ASHLEY KEMPER
Ashley Kemper has joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) as a part-time attorney in the Lasting Solutions Program.

Ashley Kemper has joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) as a part-time attorney in the Lasting Solutions Program. She previously served as a contract attorney and volunteer attorney at LSEM. Lasting Solutions helps stop family violence by providing comprehensive legal assistance, integrated support services and a coordinated community response to survivors of domestic violence. In 2011, Kemper was the recipient of the John R. Essner Young Lawyer of the Year Award - an annual honor that recognizes a new attorney who has made a meaningful contribution to the lives of LSEM clients through their pro bono work. Prior to her work at LSEM, Kemper was an associate attorney for Latham & Watkins, LLP in Chicago. Kemper has a B.A. in economics from Stanford University and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. She is a member of the Missouri Bar and Illinois Bar. Active in the St. Louis community, Kemper serves on the following boards: YWCA, The Muny, Saint Louis Art Museum Friends Board, and Family Resource Center Advocacy Board. She lives in Clayton, Missouri. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) has provided high quality legal assistance in civil cases to the low-income community for more than 50 years.
