Thanksgiving Bites: Local Restaurants Will Help Those Who Don't Have Cooking on Their Menu

Clayton-Richmond Heights Patch has rounded up local restaurants that will be open this Thanksgiving. Some have special holiday meals, while others are serving their usual fare.

Not interested in spending this Thanksgiving in your Clayton or Richmond Heights kitchen? Then check out this list of local options for good, cooking disaster-free food.

Time:  Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., seating is available until 8 p.m.
Pricing: The cost will be $24.95 for adults and $13.95 for children.
Menu: Cardwell's is offering a buffet this Thanksgiving. Enjoy roasted turkey, stuffing, ham, traditional mashed and sweet potatoes. Additionally, guests will enjoy salad and dessert tables. For a Cardwell's touch, enjoy grilled salmon, rice and seafood stew as well.
 
 
Time: Open regular hours, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Pricing: The cost will be $34.95 for adults and $16.95 for children, 5 to 12 years of age.
Menu: Maggiano's will be offering a family style Thanksgiving dinner. Families will enjoy their choice of turkey and dressing, ham and mashed sweet potatoes, or Parmesan-crusted tilapia. Two sides, two pastas and two desserts will also be offered for the meal. The desserts will include the usual Maggiano's offerings as well as its new praline pumpkin cheesecake. Maggiano's offers the recipe for this cheesecake on its blog.

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis: Thanksgiving Harvest Brunch in The Restaurant
Time: Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations are required; early reservations are strongly recommended.
Pricing: The cost will be $79 for adults and $39.50 for children younger than 12 years of age. 
Brunch Menu: As always, the Ritz-Carlton offers a delectable brunch. This Thanksgiving, the brunch offers hand-carved roasted turkey with all the trimmings and baked beef Wellington. There will also be an assortment of Maki rolls, sushi and sashimi, caviar and a smoked fish display, as well as an array of salads, cheeses, seafood, pastas, breads and desserts. Dining room chefs will prepare sesame-seared scallops, Maryland lump crab cakes and escargot ravioli as well as made-to-order omelets.

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis: Thanksgiving Dinner in The Grill
Time: Dinner will be served from 5 to 9 p.m.
Pricing: The cost will be $85 for adults and includes wine with dinner. The cost for children 12 and younger is $42.50.
Dinner Menu: Enjoy a four-course prix fixe dinner created by Jaco Smith, The Grill's executive sous chef, that includes choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entrée selection and dessert.
 

Time: Dinner will be served from 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Pricing: The cost per meal is $60.
Menu: The menu will consist of four courses with choices in each course.


Time: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Pricing: The cost for the Thanksgiving special is $10.99.
Menu: In addition to usual menu offerings, Boston Market will be serving a Thanksgiving special including a half chicken or a large portion of turkey with sides and pie.
