Forbes recently ranked St. Louis No. 14 on its list of the nation’s 40 best places for young professionals. It’s no surprise that a biz hub like Clayton is a draw for this bunch. Residents between 25 and 44 make up the area’s largest demo—making the central-corridor area perfect for work and play.
The dining options are more than abundant in Clayton. You can sample from more than 80 restaurants running the gamut from seafood at Oceano Bistro to Southern European at Araka, to the Tani Sushi Bistro.

Davis Place Neighborhood
Nestled between downtown Clayton to the north, the Wydown shopping district to the east, and Clayton Road and Galleria shopping to the South, Davis Place is steps from retail, restaurants and a Metrolink station. The proximity to major local highways means residents have easy access to downtown St. Louis, the airport, and points west and south. The quiet streets, green spaces and school playground make the neighborhood ideal for families. At the north end of the neighborhood is Meramec Elementary School in the School District of Clayton. Shaw Park, with swimming pool, tennis courts and ice rink, is diagonal across the intersection from the northwest corner of the neighborhood. Minutes away is the Center of Clayton, with its gym, indoor track, basketball courts, climbing wall, leisure pool and lap pool.

Claverach Park Neighborhood
Claverach Park is a residential subdivision is located in the south central side of Clayton, Missouri. Claverach Park was founded in 1926 and consists of 210 homes built in a wide variety of designs. Designed by Julius Pitzman, it was created to be a parklike setting. 88 acres of rolling land with streets lined by stately trees and with one centrally located neighborhood park (Hillvale Park) and 9 “pocket parks”. Claverach Park is bounded by scenic Oak Knoll Park and neighboring subdivisions Brentmoor Park, Southmoor, and the Moorlands.
