Powers Insurance and Benefits Hires New Controller

POWERS Insurance and Benefits, one of the largest family owned and operated independent insurance agencies in the bi-state region, recently hired Ryan Rizzo, CPA as its Controller.

In this position, Ryan will serve as the chief accounting officer and oversee the company’s accounting department. He is responsible for financial statements, budget reports, forecasts, cost analysis reports, and profit or loss statements.

Prior to joining POWERS Insurance and Benefits, Rizzo worked at local accounting firms as an Audit Senior and an Audit Supervisor. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lindenwood University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Missouri. Rizzo is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
