POWERS Insurance and Risk Management, one of the largest family owned and operated independent insurance agencies in the bi-state region, recently hired Shari Smith as Commercial Lines Account Manager.

Smith will be responsible for the ongoing management of commercial clients, retaining new and renewal clients, and assisting the company’s producers in order to enhance business development. She has nearly 10 years of insurance background, as well as more than 20 years in customer relations and management in the automobile industry. Smith is licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, Life & Health, and is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).
