Richmond Heights Police Blotter: House Break-in Reported in 7500 Block of Hiawatha Avenue

April 14

  • Two males, ages 17 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana in the 1000 block of Claytonia Terrace. Police said they stopped the car in which the two had been traveling after neighbors said they thought the vehicle was suspicious. Police said they then found the marijuana.
  • A victim reported that someone gained access to his house overnight in the 7500 block of Hiawatha Avenue by forcing its rear door open.
  • A 16-year-old male and two females, ages 16 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1550 . They were released to their parents.
  • A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Macy's and later released to one of his parents.

  • A 20-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 2466 Saint Louis Galleria. He received a summons and was released.

April 16

  • A doctor reported that her cellphone was stolen from a patient's room at , 6420 Clayton Rd.

  • A 19-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at , 1491 Saint Louis Galleria. She received a summons and was turned over to another agency that had been seeking her arrest.
  • A 21-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1105 Saint Louis Galleria. He was also arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest after police said he ran from security officers who had tried to stop him. Police said they later found him at The Boulevard-Saint Louis parking garage. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
  • A victim reported that someone broke into her 2004 Chevrolet Impala and stole a GPS while the vehicle was parked at the AMC Esquire 7 theater, 6706 Clayton Rd.
  • A victim reported that someone broke into his 2011 Buick Lucerne while it was parked in the 6600 block of Clayton Road. Nothing had been taken from the vehicle.
