Richmond Heights Police Blotter: Police Say Suspect's Resistance Prompted Use of Taser During Arrest
A look at incidents reported by the Richmond Heights police.

- A 26-year-old male was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant and on suspicion of possession of marijuana. It happened at Highway 40 and McKnight Road. Police said they found the drug in his car during a traffic stop.
- A 23-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of stealing at , 1105 . Because of the suspect's criminal history, she was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

- A 19-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Dillard's. Because of the suspect's criminal history, he was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

- A customer used five counterfeit $20 bills to pay for his group's dinner at , 1062 Saint Louis Galleria. An employee of the restaurant made the discovery. An investigation was ongoing.
- A victim reported that her recently stolen credit card had been used at the Galleria's and Wet Seal stores. An investigation was ongoing.

- A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of stealing , 1550 Saint Louis Galleria. He was turned over to his mother.
- A 25-year-old male was being sought after he reportedly spit on his girlfriend, a Macy's employee, following a verbal dispute.
- Two females, ages 17 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of stealing at , 2055 Saint Louis Galleria. The 17-year-old suspect had been arrested at the Galleria and banned from the mall in November 2010. Because of that, she also was arrested on suspicion of trespassing. Both owner being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

- A driver is suspected of having hit a vehicle in a parking lot of the Saint Louis Galleria before leaving the area. Two witnesses gave police a description of the suspect and vehicle. An investigation was ongoing.
March 6
- A 25-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the 1200 block of South Hanley Road. Police said the suspect also had to be subdued with a Taser after he resisted during the arrest. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

- A 16-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Love Culture. She was turned over to her mother.
- A 17-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of stealing , 2073 Saint Louis Galleria. She received a summons and was released.

- Officers euthanized a deer at Highway 40 and Interstate 170 after a driver reported that the animal had been struck by a car and was on the side of the highway.
