Richmond Heights Police Blotter: Pricey Apple Headphones Stolen
The Richmond Heights Police Department reported the following incidents on its website.

- A 25-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, not having an operator's license and not having insurance after a car accident in the 1400 block of Woodland Drive. He was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after processing because he was in the country illegally.Â
- Police from the 7300 block of Ethel Avenue. A suspect has been identified in the case.
- A total of $100 was reported missing from a cash register at , 7 . The manager filed the report. An investigation was ongoing.
- A victim said an acquaintance punched her in the front yard of her home, located in the 1600 block of Stockard Avenue. An investigation was ongoing.
- A victim said that her wallet was stolen while she was at SSM DePaul Health Center and that her credit cards later were used at stores in the Galleria. An investigation was ongoing.
July 15
- A 43-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his fiancee's 22-year-old son at a private residence in the 7500 block of Hiawatha Avenue. He was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.

- A 28-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in the 1200 block of Brentwood Boulevard. Police said they discovered the man while investigating a report of a person sleeping in the driver's seat of a vehicle. The car was still in drive.
- Two men, ages 27 and 35, were arrested on suspicion of stealing three sets of headphones from the , 2440 Saint Louis Galleria. A manager said he saw the men take the headphones, worth a total of $600, and leave the store. Police found the suspects on a Metrolink platform with the headphones. They were being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
July 17
- An iPhone was reported stolen from the Rosetta Stone kiosk, 5580 Saint Louis Galleria. The victim said she was working at the kiosk when someone stole the phone, which had been lying on a counter. An investigation was ongoing.
- Money was reported missing from the cash register at Styling Zone, 5616 Saint Louis Galleria. The manager filed the report.

- A 19-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of fraud at U.S. Bank, 6600 Clayton Rd. Police said the man tried to cash a stolen check. He was later released pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
July 19
- Two males, ages 16 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Lids, 2138 Saint Louis Galleria. They were released to their parents.
- A 16-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 1550 Saint Louis Galleria. She was turned over to juvenile authorities because her mother was unable to pick her up.
July 20
- A 63-year-old man who lives in the 7600 block of Dale Avenue was taken to a St. Louis-area hospital for psychiatric evaluation after he stopped taking his medication and refused to turn on his air-conditioner. The temperature outdoors was nearly 100 degrees.
- A 15-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting , 2126 Saint Louis Galleria. She was turned over to juvenile authorities.
July 21
- A victim reported that someone scratched the driver's side of her car as it was parked in a lot at the Galleria. The scratch ran the length of the vehicle. An investigation was ongoing.
- A victim reported being followed and harassed by another driver in the 7600 block of Dale Avenue. The driver in question has been identified and the case has been forwarded to the city's prosecutor for review.
July 22
- A woman was taken to a St. Louis-area hospital after police received a report that a woman had a gun and was threatening to commit suicide at a private residence in the 7200 block of West Park Avenue. Police found no gun, and she was taken into custody without incident.
- Two females, ages 17 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Hollister. The 17-year-old received a summons and was released. The 14-year-old was turned over to juvenile authorities after her parents could not be located.
- Three checks tied to a closed bank account were used to pay for shoes at , 1114 S. Brentwood Blvd. Management learned the account was closed several days after the checks were written. An investigation was ongoing.
July 23
- A 55-year-old female was taken to a St. Louis-area hospital for treatment after police found her pinned in her vehicle following a one-car accident on Highway 40 at Interstate 170. Police are investigating whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
July 24
- A prisoner is suspected of having committed lewd conduct by urinating on the floor of a cell at the , 7447 Dale Ave. The man was being held in connection with a case.
July 25
- A 23-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend at a private residence in the 1200 block of Murphy Avenue. Because of the nature of her actions, she was taken to a St. Louis-area hospital for a psychological evaluation.
July 26
- A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of property damage at Hollister. Police said he tore an item of clothing while trying to remove its security-sensor tag. He was turned over to juvenile authorities after his parents could not be located.
- A victim reported that a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from the parking lot of an office building, 1034 S. Brentwood Blvd. The victim told police the vehicle was unlocked and had been running at the time of the theft.
