Richmond Heights Police Blotter: Two Suspected of Fighting Over $5 Debt
A look at incidents reported by the Richmond Heights police.

- A 48-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen license plates and driving on a suspended license. It happened after a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Big Bend Boulevard. He received a summons and was released.
April 27
- A 26-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident. A victim reported that her vehicle had been struck from behind by another vehicle that then left the scene on Hanley Road at the intersection of Hicks Avenue. The police department's detective bureau investigated the case, leading to the suspect's arrest and a confession. He was being held on a $500 bond.
- A victim reported that her purse was stolen , 1550 , after she left it on a chair in the shoe department for a few minutes.
- A victim reported that her wallet was stolen from a bench outside of , 1062 Saint Louis Galleria. She returned a short time later to find it missing.

- A victim told police her estranged 58-year-old husband assaulted her outside of a business office in the 1000 block of Brentwood Boulevard. Information about the case was to be forwarded to the city's prosecutor for review.
- A victim reported that her iPhone was stolen at Macy's after she left it in a fitting room.
April 29
- Two males, ages 30 and 20, were arrested after police said they suspected the two had been fighting over a $5 debt at a bus stop in the 6400 block of Clayton Road.

- A victim reported a GPS and coins stolen from his unlocked 2005 Subaru, which had been parked in a private driveway in the 7300 block of Arlington Drive.
- A 28-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and trespassing at , 2055 Saint Louis Galleria. Police said they arrested her on suspicion of trespassing after learning she had been banned from the mall in 2010 on suspicion of stealing. She was being held pending a review of the case by the city's prosecutor.
- A 37-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a store manager for refusing to let her return an item at , 1488 Saint Louis Galleria. After being arrested, the suspect's water broke. The suspect, who was nine months pregnant, was taken by ambulance to a St. Louis hospital.
