Valley Insurance Agency Alliance Holds Toy Drive
Alliance ties in with the Marines Toys for Tots Program
Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), a cohesive family of over 100 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois, collected more than 200 toys from members at its recent fall conference. The toy drive was held for the Marine Toys for Tots Program.
VIAA requested new, unwrapped toys from its members and strategic partner companies in order to brighten the holidays of underprivileged children and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children..
Toys for Tots began in 1947 and currently distributes an average of 18 million toys to seven million less fortunate children annually.

"This drive is important because it can give hope and happiness to children in need,” said Amy Connell, Personal and Commercial Lines Manager of VIAA, who has organized the alliance’s collection for the past two years. “Our members are proud to be a part of this toy drive because the ability to bring a smile to the face of a child is a gift.”
Founded in 2006, VIAA generates more than $165 million in written premium and is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a $7.4 billion national alliance. The alliance is located at 6825 Clayton Ave. in Mo.
