At Andrews Academy, a fifth grader and her mother started an after school community service activity called A-OK, Acts of Kindness. Several times a year the fifth grade girls meet to support an activity to benefit the community. The activity for February was to make "birthday bags" for children of need and donate to "Circle of Concern". The bags hold a cake mix, one tub of frosting, a toy, and a card made by the girls to brighten a child's birthday. All together the girls donated 31 birthday bags.
