Arturo C. Taca, Jr., M.D., FABPN, INSynergy Treatment Center Founder, Selected as One of St. Louis’ “Best Doctors” by St. Louis Magazine
July 25, 2012 (St. Louis) – Arturo C Taca, Jr., M.D., Diplomate- American Board of Addiction Medicine and founder of INSynergy Treatment Center, was selected as one of St. Louis’s 2012 “Best Doctors” in the August issue of St. Louis Magazine.
To achieve this honor, Best Doctors, Inc., a 23-year-old company founded by doctors affiliated with Harvard Medical School, contacts physicians in the St. Louis region who have been included on a previous Best Doctors list and asks them, “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, who would you refer?”

Dr. Taca was also voted one of the Best Doctors of America in Psychiatry. This distinction is only offered to physicians who have been selected by consensus among their peers to be included in Best Doctors. About 5 percent of all doctors in the United States are recognized by their colleagues as the result of a nationwide survey in which doctors cast more than one million votes.
Dr. Taca, a psychiatrist based in St. Louis, has a private practice since 2006 and recently launched INSynergy Treatment Center, a premier alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility serving patients throughout the Midwest.
Prior to founding INSynergy in 2011, Dr. Taca completed his psychiatric residency training at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident of the Department of Psychiatry. He is currently a clinical instructor, and continues to teach and to supervise residents at Saint Louis University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Neurology and also at MERCY hospital in St. Louis County.
