Carney’s Kids Foundation Presents the American Girl Fashion Show

April 15, 2013 (St .Louis) – Carney’s Kids Foundation invites girls, their family and friends to experience the American Girl Fashion Show Saturday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 21, at 11:00 a.m., and 3;00 p.m., at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 7750 Carondelet, Clayton, Mo., 63105. This fun, engaging program showcases historical and contemporary fashions for girls and their dolls. Proceeds from the event will benefit Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments, Litzsinger School, Ranken Jordan Pediatric Specialty Hospital, Rainbows for Kids, and The St. Louis Crisis Nursery.

More than 30 local models will present the fashion, while lively commentary, music and decorations help create a memorable experience for girls and their families. Audiences will delight in historical clothing, from daywear to sleepwear to special-occasion clothing that resembles what the popular American Girl characters Kaya, Caroline, Josefina, Marie-Grace and Cecile, Addy, Rebecca, Kit, Molly and Julie might have worn. Contemporary, Girl of the Year, and My American Girl outfits for girls ages 8 and up, and sweet Bitty Baby fashions for little girls complete the program.

The event also includes refreshments, party favors, a raffle, and door prizes. Tickets are $25.00 per person.
