Creve Coeur Camera, a photographic equipment and photo finishing company, will host its first photography trip to Memphis, Tenn. on Fri., Nov. 2 through Sun., Nov. 4. Designed for the advanced amateur to the expert, this educational journey will focus on daytime countryside shooting, as well as nighttime photography on Beale St.
This is the first traveling trip for the company, which has conducted local day trips to St. Charles and night shooting at City Gardens.
Creve Coeur Camera’s “School of Imaging” instructors will provide tips and tutoring for various photo methods including High Dynamic Range (HDR), night shooting,
and landscapes. Instructors include Scott Rovak, who also is a photographer for the St. Louis Cardinals; Tom Tussey, locally renowned photographer and; Stephen Weiss, owner of Creve Coeur Camera.
Creve Coeur Camera was founded in 1974 and purchased by current owner Weiss in 1998. Current locations include
Crestwood, Columbia, Creve Coeur, Ellisville, Ladue, St. Charles and South County (Missouri) plus Edwardsville and O’Fallon (Illinois). A Springfield, Ill. store is set to open Nov. 2.

Research company NPD Group recently cited Creve Coeur Camera as responsible for over 50% of all camera sales in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. According to industry manufacturers, the company is in the top 10% of all camera retailers in the U.S.
Reservations are required, and space is limited. The trip
is $599 per person and includes photography instruction, hotel, food and transportation. For more information,
