Family Wealth Leader Promoted at BSW

Brown Smith Wallace has promoted David Heilich, CPA, to Partner. Heilich’s new role as partner recognizes his successful role as practice leader of the firm’s Family Wealth Planning practice. Heilich, who joined the firm in December 2005 and has nearly 20 years experience, led the growth and development of the practice. The firm’s family wealth planning practice serves family businesses, wealthy families, executives and professional athletes with comprehensive tax wealth management services.

A licensed certified public accountant, Heilich is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.

Heilich earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting from Saint Louis University. An active civil servant, he currently serves on the American Red Cross Planned Giving Advisory Council, the Planned Giving Super Committee for the SSM Health Care Network Foundations, the Planned Giving Cabinet for the Barnes Jewish Hospital Foundation and the St. Louis County Library Foundation Professional Advisors Group.
