Rossman School Second Graders Help Engage St. Louis

Rossman School second graders recently performed a very rewarding service project. Class members raised money by performing chores for family and friends to buy food and household items to be donated to Engage St. Louis. They delivered the items to Engage St. Louis on Wednesday, spending the morning at Redeemer Evangelical Church in South St. Louis City organizing and packing the items into 45 bags that will be given to families participating in the program. Engage St. Louis helps at-risk children, as well as families that have immigrated to the United States. The service project performed by the class taught by Anne-Marie Christopher and Melissa Kriegshauser is part of Rossman School’s commitment to the “Rossman Rules” of kindness, honesty, respect and responsibility.
