USA Mortgage/DAS Acquisition Co. Makes Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies List for 3rd Consecutive Year

ST. LOUIS – For the third consecutive year, St. Louis-based USA Mortgage/DAS Acquisition Co. has made the Inc. 5000 ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.  The firm was ranked No. 1633 in 2012 by the Inc. magazine survey. 

USA Mortgage/DAS Acquisition, an independent mortgage banking company that controls all aspects of the loan-making process from origination to closing and funding, attained the ranking by growing revenues of $16.3 million in 2008 to $45.6 million in 2011, an increase of 180 percent.  The company, which employs more than 425 people, ranked No. 93 nationally in its financial services category.

“Our ability to keep the entire process in-house expedites mortgage acquisition for clients and enables us to provide extraordinary personal service,” said Doug Schukar, president and chief executive officer. 

After originating just over $586 million in home loans in 2008, the firm originated more than $1.12 billion in home loans in 2011 for the third consecutive year.  It currently operates 14 offices in St. Louis, out-state Missouri, Illinois and Georgia.
