Big Week For Prep Receivers: Neal and Chesson Make News

Creve Coeur-area football seniors from Ladue and De Smet earn honors and decide their future.

Senior Jehu Chesson wants to play in "The Big House."

According to , Chesson has made a verbal pledge to play for the University of Michigan Wolverines. Chesson named earlier this month to All Class 4Β Second team by the Missouri High School Football Coaches Association,Β had reportedly been weighing scholarship offers from several other Big Ten schools.

Meanwhile, Sports Illustrated is out with the publication's high school All-American Team, which included honorable mention praise for De Smet's Durron Neal. Neal was named the Class 6 Offensive Player of the Year by the MHSFA. Neal has already announced his intent to play at the University of Oklahoma.
