Caldwell Supporter Defends Candidate From Campaign Mail

To all the Voters in Ward 1

The day before the Mayoral Election, Donna Dill mailed out a smear piece on Laura Bryant.

We determined that Dill works part-time for Mark's Quik Printing on Page Avenue which company has printed campaign items for Creve Coeur Candidates. This was the firm that printed the infamous Creve Coeur Flyer just before the 1/2 cent sales tax increase for free and did not charge that committee. You will recall that Allied Waste paid for the postage on that mailing. Mark's Quik Printing informed us Ms. Dill only works on political pieces. She is reported to live in Maryland Heights.

This time the smear piece was on David Caldwell Ward I candidate and was mailed from St. Louis 630xx on March 30th timed again to arrive just before the election.

In my interview with Mr. Caldwell he informed me that the "Very Concerned Creve Coeur Resident of Ward 1" (He did not have the courage to sign his real name) or provide a return address on the envelope, has regularly had his snow plow company push the CR's driveway snow into Mr. Caldwell's driveway. This is apparently an act of vengeance as the CR regularly put his dogs out in the front yard at 0630 and allowed them to bark. Finally, a Police call put an end to the noise but apparently not to CR's vengeance. Mr. Caldwell was finally provoked enough, at last, to move the snow back where it came from.

I have attended Council meetings since 2010 and frequently P&Z meetings like tonight to represent Creve Coeur Citizen's view points and put forth alternative views and solutions to our City's problems.

Mr. Caldwell also is a thoughful representative and while we do not always agree on every issue, Mr. Caldwell's positions are well reasoned for the best of all of us and HE DOES NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT HIS NEIGHBORS.

Interestingly, Ms. Kramer was not at the P&Z Meeting,on which committee she sits, but Mr. Caldwell was and he put forth some views on several important developments brought before the committee.

As usual, the smear letter was likely done without Ms. Kramer's knowledge by her backers to provide "Pausible Deniability".

Donna Dill's smear letter worked against Ms. Bryant.  Do not let it work against Mr. Caldwell

With apologies for the late night blog but the Dill letter just came to my attention.

I urge you in Ward 1 to VOTE FOR DAVID CALDWELL TOMORROW and put an end to this kind of dirty last minute smear politics.
