"FOR THE LOVE OF CREVE COEUR".....AND IMPROVED COMMUNICATIONS
Communicate with your City Government
One of the reasons I write this Blog on Patch and my regular Emails to all of the Subdivision TrusteesΒ about City Issues is to encourage Citizen Participation.
And as you all know by now, itΒ is also toΒ present alternate points of view and sound business "Policies," "Accountability" and "Transparency" in the decision making by the Professional Staff and Elected Officials. We call 'em as we see them.
(I also enjoy having some fun at their expense as well as my own, and so far, Chief Eidman hasn't cancelled my Citizenship Visa).)

The Glantz Administration has reached out to improve the Government/Citizen relations through the "Love of Creve Coeur" to be presented in a half day Workshop on Saturday June Ist @ 0800 hours in the City Hall lower level Multipurpose Room. This is to be presented by one Peter Kageyama, the author of "FOR THE LOVE OF CITIES"
From those who have heard Mr.K's presentation it is both entertaining and educational.

I recently registered with Ms Theresa BradshawΒ tbradshaw@ci.creve-coeur.mo.us,
(314 442 2084) toΒ attend and utilize one of the 150 reservations available. RSVP required by May 24th.
Candidly, Ms Bradshaw indicated there was still a lot of seats open. So, I know with graduations, this is a busy time, but taking time to interact with your Municipal Government is also an opportunity to learn andΒ put forth your opinions.
I would therefore encourage you to attend and enjoy the program and the free coffee (well, not really, it's paid for with taxes) and hopefully gain a better understanding and appreciation of your local government, elected officials and hard-working Professional Staff.
And most importantly, how you can improve our fair city: Creve Coeur.
I hopeΒ to see you and meet you there.
Sincerely,
R.W. Kent
