Schaefer Autobody Troubleshoots with a Hail Storm Facebook Group
The local company is asking for input from hail damage victims in the St. Louis Hail Storm Facebook group.

Taking care of customers is the business of Schaefer Autobody. βWe view ourselves as being less in the auto business and more in the customer service business,β says Scott Schaefer. In an effort to reach out to those caught up in the recent hail storms, Scott decided to take action and start the St. Louis Hail Storm Group on Facebook.
βWe understand how frustrating it can be to coordinate insurance and repair after your car has been damaged,β says Scott, βadd in hundreds of other people, who have at the same time experienced damage, and that simply adds to the frustration.β He continues, βThis group is our proactive approach for allowing people to vent their frustrations, ask questions, provide input and share information. We are going to become active in this group and utilize it as a learning tool for providing a streamlined solution for those caught up in the storm, so to speak.β
Everyone is invited to join in! The consumers, of course, are a necessary part of the group, as they are at the centerpiece of concern. Schaefer also hopes to attract insurance agents who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise. As well, competitors are invited to participate. According to Scott, βWe want to partner with our competitors; when a hail storm hits we all need to be ready and available to handle the volume of people in need.β

A link to the group is the first post on the page and can be found at the top left.Β Β βWe feel we can help everyone by opening up the lines of communication,β says Scott, βcars carry us through our daily lives, we get how important a vehicle is for transporting families to and from their activities. We want to make sure their cars are fixed and ready in a quick and efficient manner. This groupβs willingness to share will greatly help us to better serve our community.β
