Ouch! Deep cuts on Idol the other night! A big congrats to everyone who made it to the TOP 24! I’m glad Jimmy weighed in on everyone’s performance because I think he did a good job and was spot on for most of them.

It was funny watching the judges after they heard his take. I’m not sure if you agree with the top 13 but I can certainly understand why they are sitting where they are. Jimmy mentioned two names that he’d sign today! So a BIG “Congrats” to Jessica and Philip for that! I was on Erika's line in Hollywood so I wish her the very best. I’m glad the judges brought her back as a wildcard! I love country music and go to Ole Miss, so I’m rootin for Skyler, a native Mississippian. I think both of those girls can sing. Speaking of wildcards, I was really confused by Reed’s performance. He has a great voice and he was given a second chance to get in the top 13 lineup but for me it was hard to understand what he was doing with the song. Some of you may have loved it, for me…I was confused.

Now let the competition begin! I’ll try to keep in touch week by week and can’t wait to be back in St. Louis performing for you guys.
