Well, with the NFL Draft less than 2 weeks away I got my first pre-draft jitters! So I felt this would be a great time for my first initial Blog Post for the Patch. The jitters are more from me being anxious than me being nervous. I'm just anxious to know where I am going to end up!
Moments like these make me reminisce on the journey that I've been on to get to this point, and the top phrase that comes to mind when looking back is "Thank You". I've been fortunate to have great people around me my whole life and I feel the best way to give thanks (words) is by living thanks (action). So thank you to God of course, my family, friends, those at City Rec youth football, my amazing football and Basketball Coaches at De Smet Jesuit, and to My Coaches at the University of Memphis (Coaches; Barry Odom, Chris Vaughn, & Justin Fuente) who believed in me & gave me an honest opportunity when things weren't looking so bright at Mizzou.
I look forward to updating my blog with my path to the draft. So until then, I'll leave you with a quote from Brock Olivo that has stuck with me; "When you're not working, somewhere, somebody else is and when you meet them, they will win"....well I plan on winning, and the work for me starts at Elite Performance Academy in the morn! #Thrive&Advance
