The fantastic 5! Update on Idol!

Wednesday night was a long show for me. I guess when you get down to the final five, everyone is supposed to be amazing! Singing music from the 60s for round one had to be tough for the contestants,  and it proved to be more difficult for some than others this week. I think Phillip had a rough time in this round.

Another fan favorite, Jessica, did a pretty poor job in this round too. For me, she fell really flat in her stage performance. Skylar can pull off jumping around all over the stage and look great doing it, Jessica NOT so much.  I would have to say the winner for round one was Joshua with Hollie and Skylar very close behind.  

Round two was about as boring for me, with the exception of Joshua, he can SING! And he earned another standing O!  I think that’s like 50 for him. I think Phillip was a bit off and I hate that because I really like him. Hollie and Skylar killed it again and Jessica was better in round 2 but not as entertaining as the other girls.    

Based on Wednesday night's performances, I would put Phillip and Jessica in the bottom this week.  It’s hard to name a third person for the bottom so I’ll list in order how I think the contestants did (best to worst); Joshua, Hollie, Skylar, Jessica & Phillip.
