Whitfield School Auction Generates Over $220,000
Whitfield's 2013 Montage auction generated over $220,000 in support of the school's educational mission. Nearly 300 guests, dressed in their "diamonds & denim", attended the event.
Whitfieldβs 2013 Montage auction, held on Saturday, May 4, was a huge success, generating over $220,000 in support of the schoolβs educational mission. Nearly 300 guests arrived dressed in their βdiamonds & denimβ to enjoy an evening of bidding and celebration.
The silent auction featured a wide variety of items including jewelry, gift certificates to area restaurants and boutiques, sports memorabilia and designer clothing. The live auction included fine wine packages, stays at exclusive vacation homes and resort destinations, one-on-one training with Jackie Joyner-Kersee and golf and hunting excursions.
After all the bidding had concluded, guests continued to celebrate to the sounds of βJessica Butler & The JBβsβ, a band that features Whitfield faculty member Jessica Butler.
