Bring Out Your Best Food Preservation Contest at the University of Missouri Extension 100-year Celebration Event at Faust Park on August 23!

August 23, University of Missouri Extension is hosting a Food Preservation

Contest at the 100 Year celebration in Faust Park, located at 15185 Olive

Boulevard, in Chesterfield, MO.

Competition

will be held in the following categories:

  Canned Fruit

Drop Off Locations and Entry Information:  

Entries may be brought to the Jefferson, St. Charles and St.

Louis County Extension offices from now until August 21 during normal business

hours. Please call the individual Extension office to verify hours.

Please fill out the contest entry form, found on the website listed below. Entry forms will also be available at participating county extension
offices or at Faust Park.

Entries may also be brought to Faust Park on August 23 from

12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Judging:

No products will be sampled by judges. Products which do not

conform to current guidelines will be disqualified. All products will be judged

by quality indicators based on each class. All qualified exhibits will be

awarded a ribbon. Best product in each class will be awarded a certificate.
